Detailed Program
Day 1: Cairo - Dakhla
Meet in Cairo Hotel and take the private shuttle bus to Dakhla Oasis. Lunch is served in Baharyia oasis. Continue to Dakhla and check into your hotel.
Day 2 - 15: Salima Sand Sheet
Breakfast at the hotel before we load the vehicles, pick up our military officer, and we finally head toward the great void of the desert. On camels and on foot we march across the Salima Sand Sheet.
Day 15- Day 18: Uwienate Mountain
In less than 3 weeks we arrive to the Uwienate mountain, where we spend a couple of days relaxing, enjoying our accomplishments of crossing the challenging desert. Time to explore the majestic Mountain, while the camels are given time to rest, and hopefully graze.
Day 18 - Day 33 Dakhla
On a different route we return to Dakhla Oasis.
Day 33 - Day 35
Relax in Dakhla for a day and transfer to Cairo.
