13 days Cairo, Nile Cruise, Lake Nasser Cruise

Day 1:
Arrive to Cairo airport. Meet & assist by Excel Travel representative. Escorted transfer by A/C coach to your hotel.

Day 2:
On a full day guided tour visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the three pyramids and Sphinx. Drive to the Egyptian Museum for another unforgettable tour. (B,L)

Day 3:
Fly to Luxor and start your Nile cruise. Lunch and overnight onboard. (B)

Day 3 - 7:
On board the Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan visiting The Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, the Colossis of Memnon. Karnak and Luxor Temples and temples in Edfu and Kom Ombo. Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, High Dam & the islands in Aswan (B + L + D)

Day 7:
Today stay in a hotel in Aswan. (B)

Day 8:
Transfer to Nasser Lake Nasser for the cruise (Kasr Ibrim). Lunch on board. Visit to Kalabsha Temple, remodeled into the Graeco-Roman style and dedicated to the god Mandoulis. Visit the Kiosk of Kertassi, erected in honor to the Goddess Isis. Afternoon tea is served in the lounge. Dinner and overnight on board the cruise. (B +L +D)

Day 9:
Sail to Wadi El Seboua, breakfast and cocktail when passing the Troie of Cancer. Dinner and overnight on board. (B +L +D)

Day 10:
Buffet breakfast on board is ffollowed by a morning visit to Wadi El Seboua Temple, dedicated to the two gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis. The Temple of Dakka, dedicated to the god of divine wisdom Thot , Lord of times and science, master of literature. Visit the Graeco-Roman temple of Meharakka. Lunch on board while sailing to Amada.
Visit the temple of Amada from the XVIIIth Dynasty, built during the reign of Thotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thotmosis IV. Also visit the hemi-speos of Derr, dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun. Finally the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. (B +L +D)

Day 11:
Sailing to Kasr Ibrim. Visit the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia in its original location. Sail on to Abu Simbel and after lunch visit the temples of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. Sound & Light show at Abu Simbel Temples (non-compulsory, ticket not included). Candlelight dinner on board and overnight at Abu Simbel. (B +L +D)

Day 12:
After breakfast transfer to Abu Simbel airport for a morning flight to Cairo and transfer to your hotel. ((B)

Day 13:
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the Airport for the final departure (B)
