UAE entry visa update29 July 2008
The following citizens of Western Europe and the Pacific Rim do not require a UAE Visa to enter the country:

Andorra Australia Austria Belgium Brunei Canada Denmark England Finland France Germany Greece Holland Hong Kong Iceland Ireland Italy Japan Liechtenstein Luxembourg Malaysia Monaco New Zealand Norway Portugal San Marino Singapore South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland USA Vatican City

Visa requires for the rest of nationalities: Tourist visa (2-5 working days)
Applying visas on Normal or Urgent basis is no longer valid.

How to apply

1. Tourist visa is valid for single entry for two months from the date of issue and for 30-day stay from the date of entry.
2. We recommend that the passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the date of departure from United Arab Emirates.
3. It is necessary to specify the number of people traveling with one passport.
4. Please indicate when more than one person is traveling on one passport (children). In case the children are endorsed in the parents' passport, no extra charges will apply.
5. Personal picture colored & in JPG format with dimension 4.3 cm X 5.5 cm & file size should not exceed than 40Kb.
6. Clear & colored passport copy in JPG format is required.
7. Profession should be mentioned in the passport.
8. Minimum stay 03 nights at 3*, 4* or 5* hotel in the mentioned cities in UAE.

Above procedures will take place starting from 29 July.

The following visa requirements have changed.
UK visa fee, effective April 1.
France: The recording of 10 fingers prints applies for ALL applicants without exceptions each time when applying for an entry visa to France.

RESTRICTION OF ISSUING VISAS FOR EGYPTIAN NATIONALS
As per the Dubai Naturalization and Residency Administration there are restrictions for issuing visas for Egyptian nationals until further notice.
Please find the below categories having restrictions:

1) Low category profession mentioned in the passport.
2) Qualification (degree/diploma) mentioned in the passport instead of the profession.
3) Profession not mentioned in the Passport.
4) Previous breaches of Visa rules.
5) Security Reasons.
Please make sure to provide a clear color passport copy for each application. We will have to submit each application along with a clear color passport copy to the Dubai Immigrations.

Emirates: Commercial visa Requirements
With the effect of FEB 08 the UAE Immigration Department is requiring scanning the Photograph & passport copy of the concern passenger in order to obtain UAE visit visa. NO HARD COPIES ARE ACCEPTABLE.
The file should be in JPG and the size should not exceeding 40 KB each. The scanned document should be sent before sending the hard documents along with the fee.

UK Visa
The British Embassy has changed their policy for obtaining Visa. You have to access the website below to fill the application
