PORT GHALIB RESORT - RED SEA COAST
Sun International's new luxury Red Sea Resort, Port Ghalib, developed by M.A.Kharafi Group, has opened on January 15.
Port Ghalib Resort is Egypt's newest exclusive hideaway located along the magnificent coral wall that stretches for over 400 kilometers along the south Red Sea creating the famed 'Coral Coast' of Egypt.
Each of the three hotels has its own distinctive style.
The Palace, a magnificent 309-room 5-Star Deluxe Hotel is styled around the original old Citadel and the architecture is strongly Egyptian with Middle Eastern influences.
The 5-Star Sahara Sun Oasis Hotel and the 5-Star Sahara Sun Sands Hotel are linked by common public facilities. The Sahara Sun Oasis 292-rooms are architecturally modeled on the old Caravan Serai and the Sahara Sun Sands 347-rooms are inspired by the Nubian Desert villages.
The Red Sea setting of the international Marina at Port Ghalib is breathtaking,
fringed to the West by soaring desert-mountains and to the East by exquisite coral reefs and a unique marine eco-system. The Marina is oriented around a natural inlet and the unrivalled location has transformed the area into a superb world-class yachting destination.
